Known as the live music Capital of the World, Austin is a young, well-educated, booming metropolitan area located in the Texas Hill Country. The Austin area houses several universities, including the University of Texas - where Longhorn fans bleed orange.

However, Austinites are politically-charged and passionate about much more than just sports. With the support of his constituents, Austin's Mayor Will Wynn recently unveiled an aggressive plan that will set the standard among cities nationwide in the growing campaign to address global warming. The Austin Climate Protection Plan will eliminate carbon dioxide emissions from virtually all municipal activities by the year 2020. In addition, for the fifth year in a row, the Austin Energy GreenChoice program was the #1 utility sponsored green power program in America. CTA Austin shares that passion for sustainable design with our clients and in our work.

The Office:
- Located in the Penn Field complex, our space is an adapted reuse of a 1918 WWI Army Air Corp Training Base
- We share the building with fellow members of the Design Center of Austin
- Our annual office celebration is a Halloween costume party
- We are serious competitors in the annual AIA Sand Castle Competition held along the Texas Gulf Coast.
